LLCC Trustees' Honors Program Scholarship

The LLCC Trustees’ Honors Program Scholarship is worth up to 60 credit hours of in-district tuition for academic years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025. It does not pay for fees, books or other related educational expenses.

Your scholarship will be in effect as long as the scholarship criterion (listed below) is maintained. To accept and maintain this scholarship, you must agree to the following criteria:
1. reside in Lincoln Land Community College District 526 during the length of the scholarship or meet the residency qualifications established by LLCC for in-district tuition rates
2. be a member of the LLCC Honors Program
3. have continuous enrollment during the fall and spring semesters in a minimum of 12 credit hours
4. attend class and successfully complete a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester

6. contact the Honors Program advisor and LLCC Foundation prior to officially withdrawing from a class that you do not intend to or are not able to complete
7. allow the LLCC Foundation the right to release information regarding your acceptance of this scholarship
8. notify the LLCC Foundation if your plans change and you will not attend LLCC after accepting this scholarship

This scholarship is not transferrable to any other educational institution.

Upon your acceptance of the scholarship and receipt of this contract by the LLCC Foundation, your award will be administered as follows.

Tuition payment
• Prior to the tuition payment due date each semester a “scholarship hold” will be placed on your LLCC account. The scholarship hold ensures that your classes will not be dropped for lack of payment.

• The scholarship award will be applied to your account about one month after the start of each semester.

• The scholarship does not cover your fees. You will owe that amount. It is your responsibility to obtain an updated tuition and fees statement.

• Enrollment Compliance:
After the “last withdrawal date for 100% tuition refund’ each semester that the scholarship is used, your schedule will be checked to make sure that you are in compliance with criterion 3. and 5. Non-compliance of either of these criterions will result in the cancellation of your scholarship.

• Completion Compliance:
At the end of the fall semester, your transcript will be reviewed to confirm that you are in compliance with criterion 4 and 5. Non-compliance of either of these criterions will result in the cancellation of your scholarship.

To confirm your use of the scholarship for the 2024-2025 academic year, a renewal contract will be mailed to you after completion of the spring 2024 semester.
